A pensive moment at MOMA with a big Jackson Pollock painting. Like Pollock, I often work from a deep, unconscious place to see what emerges. With the other side of my brain, I study ancient and mid-century mosaics and teach a class about Roman mosaics and geometric patterns. I'm an enthusiastic history nerd, I admit it... Learn more
