I'm listening to a Spring rainstorm that's greening up the hills to emerald perfection. These rainy (or snowy) days are perfect times to sit down to draw or nip some bits. Everything stills and there's nowhere else to go, nothing else to do. In this way, art-making fulfills the need for simply enjoying the present moment.
Celebrate the emergence of spring and come join me for a workshop! If you can't make it to a class, do write and let me know: what simple moments keep you centered and feeling creative? Hope to hear from you,
  Lillian Sizemore www.sfmosaic.com

DATELINE OAKLAND - Henry was one of the lucky ones. He had never taken a mosaic class before, but this engineer-by-trade, had traveled enough that he fell victim to the global pandemic: Mosaic Muse Virus. There is no vaccine available, but reports conclude that playing with little cubes of stone can quell the discomfort. Symptoms include: feverish enthusiasm, sudden fits of imagination, bouts of self-confidence coupled with extended smiling.
